Feeling the Earth beneath our feet: Low Cost Women's silent retreat in Welsh woodland

THIS COURSE IS CANCELLED DUE TO COVID19

Following the success of previous women’s retreats in West Wales, we invite you to experience a weekend of rest, silence and rejuvenation in beautiful woodland from 18 - 20 th September 2020.

This year’s retreat is designed to offer guided mindfulness practices and meditations to help us first arrive, let go and land in beautiful natural surroundings. Then, as we settle deeper into the process there will be opportunities to experience held periods of silence, eep listening and receptivity so that we might gently turn towards and inhabit our experience of being, in the moment, opening our hearts and attention to our deep connection and interconnection with all beings and with the earth herself.

Vanessa will introduce some nature based creative exercises which you may wish to participate in as a means of response, illumination and expression of what is unfolding individually. As an experienced gong bath and poetry leader, Sally will offer a sound bath and poetry dive to help integrate our experiences. Finally, we will spend time on Sunday transitioning from the riches of our individual silence, forming a sharing and talking circle.

The retreat is offered as a nurturing, exploratory and restorative weekend in which we can explore our capacity to trust ourselves, each other and all beings; to receive the deep wisdom of the earth and our soul’s calling. The group will be held by two experienced therapists and healers. Vanessa is a registered art psychotherapist and trained mindfulness instructor who has been working in nature since 2010. Sally is a qualified naked voice facilitator, gong and poetry practitioner.
